Principle

This website is deliberately lean. No cookies are set, no analytics or tracking services are used, no social media plugins are embedded and no fonts or scripts are loaded from third-party servers. All files are served from this website's own server.

Server log files

When the pages are accessed, the hosting provider automatically stores data in log files, in particular IP address, date and time, page accessed, amount of data transferred, browser type and operating system. Processing serves the technical operation of the site under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Appointment request and contact form

If you use the form, the details you enter are sent to the email address named in the form and stored there to process your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where treatment is being initiated, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

Details about complaints, previous illnesses, medication or pregnancy are health data within the meaning of Art. 9 GDPR. These fields are voluntary and are processed only with your explicit consent under Art. 9 (2) (a) GDPR.

The message is sent by email. Email is usually encrypted in transit but not end to end. If you would rather avoid that, please use the telephone.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

Retention

Requests are deleted once they have been dealt with, unless statutory retention periods apply. Separate statutory periods apply to treatment records.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in this case the data protection commissioner of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen.
